Self-illumination on the light bulb

Found out that a self-illumination map works in Unity just like you think it would, black for off, white for on.  The tricky part that took some investigation is that Unity will only look in the alpha channel for your self-illum map, so save it as a file format that has an alpha channel (.psd works).

  2. I was using the free version of Unity at school, so I'm assuming this works with all forms of Unity. The version I was using had shadows disabled. Hope that helps.
